Foundations and Frontiers of 3D-Printed Concrete in Construction
摘要
The field of construction is undergoing a profound transformation, driven by advances in automation, robotics, and digital fabrication technologies. One of the most promising developments at the forefront of this transformation is 3D-printed concrete (3DPC), also referred to as additive manufacturing of cementitious materials [1]. This technique represents a significant departure from traditional methods of concrete construction, which rely heavily on manual labor, rigid formwork, and prolonged curing periods. Instead, 3D-printed concrete embraces the principles of digital construction, using a layer-by-layer deposition method controlled by computer-generated models and executed by robotic systems.
