The construction industry faces persistent challenges regarding data management, including fragmentation of data and inefficiencies in existing data retrieval systems. Digital twin (DT) technology has emerged as a powerful solution for integrating and visualizing diverse data within construction projects. This research proposes a framework for managing and visualizing multi-format data, such as documents, images, tables, and videos, within a DT environment for infrastructure assets. The framework introduces an architecture with distinct components for data entry, storage, and visualization. A setup process defines the asset hierarchy, enables data entry, segments data into smaller, meaningful units, and links these segments to specific elements or element categories within the asset hierarchy. The runtime processes support data retrieval and interactive visualization through the DT web interface, improving operational efficiency. By addressing challenges in data segmentation and retrieval, this framework provides a streamlined approach to construction data management, enhancing decision-making and usability.

摘要
