West Kalimantan possesses a good cultural and natural tourism potential but the performance of the tourism is low. This study will enhance the tourism ecosystem because it will convert the Electronic Tourism Information Center (E-TIC) to become an interactive co-creation platform and orchestration platform instead of its current information transmission style. Data was gathered using Soft Systems Methodology (SSM) and interviewed and discussed in focus groups with tourists, tour operators, local communities and the tourism agency using open questionnaires. The thematic analysis shows the most significant problems of the Information Management, Technological Infrastructure, Feedback & Improvement, Stakeholder Engagement, Capacity Building and Development, Governance, and Policy Framework. To cope with these difficulties, the author offers a re-designed E-TIC based on the SMACS technology (social, mobile, analytics, cloud, and security). The site allows tourists to give reviews, get customized recommendations, communicate with tour operators, and engage with tourism village life operated by local communities. The study concludes that a co-creation-driven digital platform has the potential to fortify tourism advancement in West Kalimantan as it allows tourists, local communities, tour operators, and the tourism agency to collaborate proactively in their gathering and dissemination of information, enhancement of tourism services, and provision of a more enriching travel experience.

摘要
