Poverty alleviation relocation is a fundamental measure to solve the problem of poverty alleviation in six types of inhospitable areas. The relocation and resettlement have just completed the goal of the first stage, and follow-up support is the key to ensure smooth settlement and achieve prosperity. From August 1 to August 8, 2020 the research team of Renmin University of China conducted in-depth research on Huize County and Honghe Hani and Yi Autonomous Prefecture in Yunnan Province. By means of discussions and interviews with local departments, on-the-spot investigation of different resettlement sites and survey of different relocated households, they made a thorough investigation of the follow-up support to community integration, industry and employment in Yunnan Province. This chapter examines the basic situation and effectiveness of follow-up support for relocation in Yunnan Province, analyzing and summarizing typical follow-up cases of poverty alleviation relocation.
