Simultaneously, traditional Wushu actively served the goals of public fitness and local economies. Internationally, the Wushu internationalization process accelerated. International organizations formulated unified rules, and Wushu became a permanent event in the Asian Games. This period laid a solid foundation for the continued development of Wushu in the twenty-first century.
