This research investigates a multi-crane scheduling problem from Cable Coils warehouses. The objective of this problem is to optimize the sorting and allocation of tasks while ensuring that the crane operation meets the safety regulations. We formulate the problem as a mixed integer programming model and solve it via a standard solver. The data experiment in a power grid cable coils warehouse shows this model can effectively reflect the operating characteristics of multiple cranes in the warehouse and offering significant multi-cranes operation solutions.

摘要

This research investigates a multi-crane scheduling problem from Cable Coils warehouses. The objective of this problem is to optimize the sorting and allocation of tasks while ensuring that the crane operation meets the safety regulations. We formulate the problem as a mixed integer programming model and solve it via a standard solver. The data experiment in a power grid cable coils warehouse shows this model can effectively reflect the operating characteristics of multiple cranes in the warehouse and offering significant multi-cranes operation solutions.
