Due to rapid urbanization and increase of population, the demand of construction has increase significantly during last few decades and thus resulting in scarcity of land. So, to eradicate this problem, Anchor Pile Foundation System can be an alternative approach for construction on weak and problematic soils. Anchor Pile foundation System can be used to withstand against uplift load imposed on the structure. In this paper uplift behavior of Plate Anchor Pile Foundation System in black cotton soil is studied varying the geometric parameters of plate anchor piles. Comparative conclusions are drawn based on the experimental study. And recommendations are drafted for each set of anchor piles.
