Demand responsive transit (DRT) has been launched in Klang Valley in November 2023 with the aim of bridging first and last mile transportation gap. DRT, which is on-demand, offers the convenience of booking a ride and checking real-time updates using a mobile application. DRT highlights an improvement in Malaysia’s public transport system to reduce walking time and distance to major transit lines. However, there is very limited study on DRT in Klang Valley. Therefore, this study aims to evaluate the DRT service providers, namely Kumpool, Trek Rides, and Mobi in Klang Valley using the Technique for Order Preference by Similarity to Ideal Solution (TOPSIS) model. The decision criteria are performance expectancy, effort expectancy, tangibility, facilitating conditions, and perceived safety. The results found that Trek Rides has the best performance among all the three DRT service providers. Kumpool has the lowest performance and should improve by reducing waiting times and timely departure and arrival. Since DRT is still an emerging transport mode, this study serves as a reference to the government and DRT service providers to improve while expanding to other parts of the country.
