The textile structure known as braid, obtained using Maypole technology, has one major drawback: its lack of homogeneity. We are therefore proposing a new structure. Our initial estimates of the mechanical properties of this new and innovative weave are detailed. For this weave, it is necessary to develop a demonstrator machine, so a few dimensioning criteria are proposed.
