Overall Design of Hybrid-Powered Long-Endurance UAV Based on Tiltrotor Configuration

This paper presents the overall design of a long-endurance hybrid UAV based on a tilt-rotor configuration. The design objectives are achieved through a partial power tilt configuration combined with a series hybrid power system. First, a comparative analysis of different power configurations is conducted to identify the optimal solution according to design requirements. Second, key aircraft parameters are determined based on technical specifications. Finally, computational fluid dynamics (CFD) is employed to analyze the UAV’s aerodynamic characteristics, and flight performance is calculated. And calculate the relevant parameters and control strategies for the transition stage. Thereby completing the overall scheme design. This research provides theoretical foundations for developing tilt-rotor configurations and hybrid-powered UAVs.
