King Abdulaziz and his Companions Foundation for Giftedness and Creativity, known as “Mawhiba”, directs its effort toward achieving its vision of being “a leading global reference in empowering the brightest young talented minds to create sustainable impact”. Following a general introduction on Mawhiba’s contribution to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia (KSA) Vision 2030, this paper describes Mawhiba’s methodology used for the development of sound creative education programs for empowering gifted K-12 students. Toward delivering these programs, the methodology attempts to achieve four main integrated purposes. The first purpose is concerned with identifying the targeted gifted students. The second is related to providing those students with the knowledge and skills that support their capabilities, while responding to the continuous progress of the world’s innovation. The third is associated with exploring the thinking skills and creativity of the students. Finally, the fourth is related to putting the students into real-life creative competitions, both at the national level and at the international level. The paper then moves toward providing illustrative examples on Mawhiba’ students in its various programs, and their increasing numbers and achievements
