SWOT Analysis of MIS in Higher Education: A Case Study of KKU
摘要
The introduction of an emerging technology is a vital phase on its own, understanding and use of technology are important well. Usage of information technology has been a primary dependent variable in research into management information systems (MIS). Universities use MIS to facilitate a wide variety of administrative, teaching, and learning operations, including attendance tracking, evaluation reports, reporting, financial planning, and preparation of course materials, and allocation of resources and staff. Such programs were developed by universities to improve process efficiency and to coordinate the delivery and allocation of training services. Thus, the purpose of this study was to provide systematic Literature Review (SLR) of MIS adoption and to examine strengths, weaknesses, opportunities, and threats (SWOT) connected to the incorporation of management information systems into university learning environments by enabling communication between instructors and students through online lectures, and to explore applications of various MIS in education work in this area. The process involves conducting surveys of Community College teachers and students to gather statistical data for a later assessment using the SWOT analysis. This research outcome will reflect the overall MIS adoption in higher education institutions and how students and teachers perceive SWOT terms for LMS and how they might use them.
