The global population of postmenopausal women is growing. Despite affecting half the population, menopause has long remained underdiscussed, underresearched, and underserved in routine healthcare. Today, establishing dedicated menopause clinics is not only timely, but it is essential. There are many public health challenges related to menopause such as discussing menopause is often a taboo within society, families, workplaces, or healthcare settings. Women get adequate care from adolescence to the reproductive-age group. But we have no existing policies for care of postmenopausal women. Setting up a menopause clinic is a valuable initiative that can provide much-needed support for women experiencing menopause as well-managed menopause transition sets the stage for active and healthy aging. A comprehensive systemic medical record with regular checkups and symptom management is the need of the hour to provide appropriate care to midlife women for the rest of life which should be offered to her around 45 years of age. The menopause card is the most important tool to give comprehensive, appropriate, preventive care and management of menopausal symptoms. A menopause clinic offers specialized, comprehensive, and empathetic care tailored to the unique needs of midlife women. They serve as vital hubs for preventive health.
