This chapter details the intricacies of the quantitative methods used by the author in her research. Multiple linear regression analyses were conducted on the independent variable; gender beliefs, which shows a significant relationship between these variables; gender beliefs, employment, and education on capability, all of which have a bearing on each research participant’s experience of poverty and deprivation as a Malaysian Indian of the Tamil subgroup.
