Future Implications and Trends of Private Education in RCEP Nations
摘要
In the past decades, private education in Regional Comprehensive Economic Partnership (RCEP) countries has developed rapidly. However, the development of private education is uneven. In a few countries, there are very few private schools. But in some countries, the number of private schools accounts for one-third of the total number of schools. This book provides us a more comprehensive and historical perspective on the development of private education in RCEP countries. Globalisation has a profound impact on the education system. Governments in many countries will face more challenges to balance globalisation with localization. In the future, the governance of the governments in various countries on private schools will be more detailed and in-depth. More education policies will be issued to regulate the operation of private schools. Private schools will encounter more challenges in autonomy. As the number of private schools increases, competition among private schools will become more intense. Schools will make various attempts in their administration systems to improve efficiency. In addition, private schools will further improve the teaching quality in order to meet demand of parents for quality education.
