Current measurement errors (CMEs) are divided into scaling error and offset error. The offset error causes an additional first harmonic disturbance on the dq axis in the open-end-winding permanent magnet synchronous motor (OEW-PMSM). Therefore, a simple compensation strategy of the current measurement offset error (CMOE) is proposed in this paper. By establishing the predictive model of the dq0 axis, the anti-Park transformation is applied to obtain the predictive currents of the αβ0 axis. The CMOE is directly estimated by a low-pass filter. The low-pass filter could filter the difference value between the predictive current and the measured current. The offset error in the system is directly eliminated by the proposed strategy. The simulation results prove the effectiveness of the proposed strategy.
