Study on Transient Recovery Voltage Characteristics of Circuit Breaker Neutral Point Grounded Through Arc Suppression Coil
摘要
This study analyzed circuit breaker recovery voltages during outgoing short-circuit faults in 12 kV neutral-point arc suppression coil grounded networks. Equivalent and three-sequence symmetrical component models were established. Calculated transient and power frequency recovery voltages matched experimental results. Transient recovery voltage peaks and rise rates were lower than in ungrounded systems, but post-final pole clearance power frequency recovery voltage could exceed three times the phase voltage due to coil-capacitor resonance, violating GB/T1984–2024. These results indicate higher insulation and arc-extinction requirements and support improved evaluation and fault interruption safety in distribution networks.
