To facilitate understanding, this chapter first introduces some basic concepts of the Earth’s gravitational field, then briefly discusses two fundamental issues of airborne gravity survey, provides a concise introduction to the components of the airborne gravity survey system, and discusses in detail the development of scalar airborne gravimeters. Subsequently, the basic mathematical models and error models for airborne vector and scalar gravity surveys are established, and an overview of the spectral window of airborne gravity survey, low-pass filtering methods, achievable resolution, and accuracy assessment is provided.

摘要

To facilitate understanding, this chapter first introduces some basic concepts of the Earth’s gravitational field, then briefly discusses two fundamental issues of airborne gravity survey, provides a concise introduction to the components of the airborne gravity survey system, and discusses in detail the development of scalar airborne gravimeters. Subsequently, the basic mathematical models and error models for airborne vector and scalar gravity surveys are established, and an overview of the spectral window of airborne gravity survey, low-pass filtering methods, achievable resolution, and accuracy assessment is provided.
