Manufacturing Powerhouse Supported by Industrial Parks
摘要
Industrial parks have played a vital role in policy pilots, institutional innovation, industrial growth and upgrading, creating employment opportunities and tax revenue, building economic growth engines, and boosting regional economic development. Breaking through existing institutional and policy frameworks, industrial parks take the lead in experimenting with foreign investment attraction, market expansion, and management system innovation. Externally, they function as “windows of opening-up”; internally, they serve as platforms for aggregating production factors such as capital, labor, and technology. These functions have significantly improved the internal and external accessibility of China’s economy. The summary and promotion of experiences from industrial parks have driven the development of more regions and industries, supported the growth and upgrading of key industries, consolidated consensus on reform and opening up on a broader scale, and enhanced economic accessibility—in turn promoting more coordinated formulation and implementation of various policies, as well as political governance, thus making important contributions to China’s economic growth.
