This paper systematically reviews the current status of standardization research on recoilless guns both domestically and internationally, and conducts a comparative analysis of the differences between China and other countries in terms of standard system construction, technical coverage, and implementation strategies. In combination with the technological development needs of China’s new generation of recoilless weapons, such as lightweight design, precise airburst, and dynamic balance, this paper proposes recommendations including the reference of U.S. military standardization strategies, the improvement of the standard system framework, and the enhancement of military-civilian integration, in order to promote the systematic and forward-looking development of the standardization of recoilless guns in China.
