Design of Overcurrent Protection Circuit for Power Converters
摘要
A large number of power converter are connected to the new power system, which play an important role in voltage and frequency conversion. Overcurrent protection circuit is one of the core designs to ensure the safety and reliability of the power converters. The design of the overcurrent protection circuit includes hardware and software parts. The hardware part consists of a current detection circuit, a voltage regulation circuit, and a logic judgment circuit. The output current of the power converters is converted into a voltage signal of ±10 V through a current sensor, and then converted into a voltage signal of 0−3 V through a voltage conversion circuit. Compared with the threshold voltage, overcurrent detection is performed, and the output signal enters the FPGA (Field Programmable Gate Array) to determine the PWM (Pulse Width Modulation) output. The experiment verified the feasibility of the design circuit.
