Calculation and Protection of Simultaneous Tripping of 500 kV Double-Circuit Transmission Lines on the Same Tower
摘要
In the current situation where the line corridor is becoming increasingly tight, in order to increase the transmission capacity of the unit width corridor as much as possible and reduce the cost of line construction, double-circuit transmission lines on the same tower are increasingly being adopted. Compared with conventional single-circuit lines, double-circuit lines on the same tower face more stringent lightning protection problems, among which the most serious is the simultaneous tripping of two circuits caused by lightning strikes. How to avoid the simultaneous tripping of double-circuit lines has become a key issue that affects the stability of power grid operation and needs to be solved urgently. This paper constructs a model and uses the ATP-EMTP simulation software to calculate the relevant data of double tripping on the same tower of a typical tower, and studies the protection of double tripping on the same tower by taking relevant measures such as unbalanced insulation, installing line lightning arresters and reducing grounding resistance. In order to combine multiple lightning protection methods for transmission lines, calculations are made to achieve economic efficiency, feasibility and effect.
