Glioblastoma (GBM) presents the biggest therapeutic challenge among gliomas, which are some of the most aggressive and resistant to treatment brain tumors. Due to the limited survival benefits of traditional treatment modalities, including chemotherapy, radiation, and surgery, precision medicine has become necessary. Using molecular profiling, next-generation sequencing, and sophisticated computational methods, precision medicine in glioma therapy aims to customize treatments according to the genetic and epigenetic makeup of each tumor. Important biomarkers that direct therapy selection include key molecular changes like EGFR and TP53 pathway changes, MGMT promoter methylation, and IDH mutations. Glioma treatment is being revolutionized by new approaches such as immunotherapy, targeted medicines, and innovative drug delivery methods. The state of precision medicine for gliomas is examined in this chapter, with particular attention paid to developments in molecular diagnostics, individualized treatment plans, and the application of artificial intelligence to therapy optimization. Precision medicine has the ability to greatly enhance patient outcomes and open the door to more efficient, customized glioma treatments by incorporating these developments into clinical practice.

摘要
