Toroidal air-core reactor, due to its characteristic of arranging the coil along the circumferential direction, can confine the magnetic field within the reactor and has a smaller magnetic clearance, thus having a better application prospect in offshore wind power platforms. In order to solve the problem of relying on finite element analysis to calculate the inductance value and maximum temperature rise of the toroidal air-core reactor, numerical formulas are proposed in this paper for the inductance and maximum temperature rise of toroidal air-core reactor calculation, and verifies the validity and accuracy of the work in this paper by means of finite element analysis and experimental measurement.

摘要
