In this paper, the fixed-time stability for discrete-time nonlinear systems is established. Under this framework, the system states are guaranteed to enter and remain within a sufficiently small bounded region around the origin within a fixed time. The proposed fixed-time convergence criterion overcomes the inherent limitation of finite-time control, where the convergence behavior depends on initial conditions. Moreover, the settling time of the system can be estimated and designed based on parameters. Simulation results validate the effectiveness of the proposed criterion.
