A Brief Overview of 3D Scanning Techniques for Structures Within the Context of Digital Twin
摘要
In recent decades, three-dimensional (3D) scanning applications have gained significance within the context of the digital twin. Three-dimensional scanning is a tool within digital twins that captures accurate spatial data and generates detailed 3D models of structures. This paper provides a brief overview of the application of 3D scanning techniques for structures. It briefly discusses the different 3D scanning methods and the benefits of using 3D scanning for structures in digital twin applications. 3D scanning of structures improves data accuracy and acquisition efficiency, enabling decision-making and effective resource allocation. In conclusion, 3D scanning techniques are valuable tools for creating accurate and detailed 3D models of structures and can be used to capture changes such as deterioration and damage over time within the context of digital twins.
