Refractory inflammatory conditions of bones and soft tissues, such as epicondylitis humeri, plantar fasciitis, and achillodynia, significantly impact quality of life. In cases unresponsive to conventional therapies, low-dose radiotherapy (LDRT) has demonstrated consistent analgesic and anti-inflammatory benefits. This chapter reviews the biological rationale, clinical indications, radiotherapy techniques, safety profile, and supporting literature on LDRT for these chronic conditions. It further outlines the growing clinical acceptance of LDRT in Europe and explores emerging directions for its integration into modern benign disease management.

摘要
