Juvenile NP-Fibroma
摘要
Juvenile nasal angiofibroma is a benign but locally aggressive vascular neoplasm. Origin of JNA is debatable but it is considered to be associated with hormonal influence and vascular malformation. Clinically it presents as a painless, progressive, unilateral nasal obstruction. It is a clinical and image-based diagnosis. Biopsy is not advised as the lesion bleeds profusely upon manipulation. Treatment of choice is surgical resection along with adjuvant radiotherapy. Radiotherapy has been proven to be beneficial in cases of extension into adjacent structures and aggressive tumors.
