Salmonellosis
摘要
With 1.3 billion incidents of the illness and more than 3 million fatalities annually, salmonellosis is a global public health concern. Salmonellosis is a leading cause of bacterial intestinal infection in people and animals alike. Salmonellosis is the second most often reported gastrointestinal infection and a leading source of foodborne outbreaks. More than 2500 Salmonella serovars have been discovered; the majority of them have been linked to human infections, although only a small subset of these serovars is significant for public health.
