Along the Qiantang River
摘要
With the arrival of the warm climate of the Holocene, this fertile land gave rise to lush temperate and subtropical vegetation, drawing humans to settle and reproduce here. Rising temperatures melted the snow and ice of the Longmen Mountains, unleashing torrents of meltwater. As these streams surged forth, they not only eroded the land but also helped shape the river valleys and basins of the upper Qiantang River.
