Study on Alignment Methods for Magnetic Resonance Imaging and Transrectal Ultrasound Images of Prostate Gland
摘要
Transrectal ultrasound-guided prostate biopsy is the preferred examination method for early prostate cancer diagnosis. Alignment of intraoperative ultrasound images with preoperative magnetic resonance images can improve the detection rate of biopsy and reduce the probability of complications. This paper studies the Dice similarity coefficient, target Alignment error TRE and running time evaluation criteria parameters of rigid Alignment, affine transformation alignment, and non-rigid alignment of prostate magnetic resonance imaging and transrectal ultrasound images. Experiments show that the alignment accuracy and speed of non-rigid alignment of prostate magnetic resonance imaging and transrectal ultrasound images are significantly better than rigid alignment and affine transformation alignment. The prostate MRI-TRUS non-rigid alignment method can improve the accuracy and efficiency of diagnosis and treatment through innovative algorithm design, clinical problem-driven optimization and open source ecological construction, and provide key technical support for the early diagnosis and treatment of prostate cancer.
