B-Value Selection for Tissue-Heterogeneity MRI Diffusion Models in Prostate Applications
摘要
The tissue-heterogeneity is of great interest in tumor studies, and advanced diffusion imaging models, such as SEM, FROC, and CTRW, could provide these information, while will need long acquisition time. This paper investigated the b-value acquisition scheme of 3 tissue-heterogeneity diffusion models in prostate applications. Results showed that the quantitative parameters of SEM and CTRW were less affected by b-value range changes than FROC. Based on our findings, we recommend a b-value range of 0~1,500 s/mm2 for clinical practice, which balances acquisition efficiency with model performance while maintaining high correlations (≥0.95) with reference measurements and preserving diagnostic efficacy.
