The chapter provides detailed insight into the factors affecting the HTL, like temperature, pressure, retention time, heating value, biomass-to-solvent ratio, and the effect of catalysts and solvents on HTL efficiency. The chapter also dealt with various biofuelBiofuel products and their applications. Finally provides suggestions for future studies.
