With the ever-increase in the use of steel and iron products, especially cast iron. It is hazardous for a worker to work with molten metal and high temperatures. There are also risks with the end cast not being perfect because of the human error. This paper presents kinematic design of single degree freedom tilt-ladle type pouring machine. The mechanism pouring machine modeled as four bar and slider crank. Tilting position, displacement, velocity and acceleration analysis are performed. The tilting operation is controlled by a microcontroller (Arduino Uno) for automation, flawless pouring operations. Also, artificial intelligence interfacing strategies are discussed to make pouring operation safer. This study not only helps the industry for better molds but also helps in the workers’ safety making it more economical for small industries.
