Posterior Segment Complications of Myopia and Its Management
摘要
Myopia is an important cause of visual loss, especially in the younger population. It is labeled as high myopia (HM) when spherical equivalent of refractive error exceeds -6 diopters (D) or when axial length is longer than 26.5 mm. When it is associated with characteristic pathological changes at the posterior pole, it is labeled as pathological myopia (PM).
