The cyclic load on a compressor valve plate during operation can lead to fatigue damage. To improve the working life of the suction valve plate for the compressor, this paper analyzes and optimizes the stress and the fatigue safety factor of a reciprocating compressor valve plate based on finite element simulation technology. Firstly, the simulation model is established to achieve fault reproduction. The model is then used to optimize the design until it meets the material strength requirements. Finally, the experimental data demonstrate the effectiveness of the recommended optimization solutions.
