The term “shoulder impingement” refers to rotator cuff and subacromial bursa irritation that occurs in the small subacromial area. A painful upper extremity ailment called shoulder impingement syndrome is caused by a structural constriction of the subacromial region Prevalence. The one-month prevalence of shoulder pain is between 16% and 30%. A total of 38 patients were included in the study which was subjected with physical examination of 2 out of 4 signs positive and divided into experimental and control groups and receiving exercise for 4 weeks and outcome of pain, strength and ability was assessed pre and post treatment/intervention and results were shown positive. The results have shown improvement with Blackburn and progressive resistance exercise for shoulder Impingement has shown positive results in means of pain, ROM, strength and functional ability and significantly efficiency in Blackburn group. The mean difference of ROM of flexion pre values of experimental and control group is 104.116 and 93.42 post values of experimental and control group is 140.684 and 115.53. Mean difference of ROM of abduction pre values of experimental and control 106.95 and 97.00 post values of experimental and control group 136.68 and 117.05. The study has reported that there is improvement in both experimental and control groups, has better improvement in experimental groups and positive result means of functional ability.
