Fuel cells directly convert the chemical energy of fuels and oxidants, such as oxygen, into electrical energy. As an emerging renewable energy technology, fuel cells hold significant promise for both Vietnam and the global community. The research and application of fuel cells in practical systems are critical and offer substantial development potential. Within a fuel cell energy system, the power electronic converter is essential for determining the quality of power delivered to the load. In this paper, the authors will present general studies on Fuel Cells, present the structure of the fuel cell energy storage system and finally design, calculate and verify the Power electronics control is applicable in this system.
