In this paper, we introduce a dual-loop current and voltage controller for a bidirectional DC-DC converter used in the supercapacitor energy storage system of standalone solar power setups. This controller is designed to optimize system performance by simultaneously regulating current and voltage, facilitating energy conversion from unstable sources like solar power. Unlike traditional controllers, the dual-loop current and voltage controller employs a Proportional-Integral (PI) method, providing greater flexibility in adjustment and enhancing the operation of the converter. This approach helps improve overall system efficiency, enhances stability and reliability, and increases the energy storage capability of the supercapacitor unit in standalone solar power systems.

摘要
