The concluding chapter is an attempt for overall analysis of the situational analysis of the Dalit human rights violations at all levels in India with a special focus on Bihar. In this exercise the post-Laxmanpur Bathe caste of the caste carnage and other violations of Dalit human rights in Bihar have also been looked into. An attempt has been made to use the latest data available through “Caste Survey” undertaken by the government of Bihar along with other resource materials which have made the task easier to understand why the Indian state and society at large need to pay more attention to the issues related to Dalit human rights.
