The primary approach to economic system reform only expresses one aspect on the direction of the reform, which has a strong theoretical nature and is largely normative, i.e., according to this primary approach, we can have a clear understanding of the direction and prospect of the reform, and understand what we should do and why we should do it. However, there is still a great distance between this and the actual economic reformEconomic reform. The approaches to economic reformEconomic reform must be changed into policies and be realized in practice. Policy designPolicy design of economic reformEconomic reform is necessary because only a combination of normative and empirical research can better serve the reform. In other words, by making the approaches to economic reformEconomic reform policy-oriented, we can learn more about “how we should do it, how we can do it better, and how we can turn what is theoretical into what is practical.”
