The Influence of Social Mobility on People’s Perception of Reform Benefits
摘要
Since the reform and opening-up, Chinese society has experienced rapid social transformation, and all aspects of the society have undergone unprecedented profound changes, especially the changes in the interest pattern. The change of interest pattern mainly has the following characteristics: some individuals and groups feel benefited, while others feel deprived; The benefited group and the deprived group have different degrees of perception. There is a strong awareness of fairness among the benefited group and the deprived group, and between the benefited and deprived groups. That is to say, people will feel unfair to varying degrees whether they benefit from various reforms or not (Hangsheng Zhang, 2006). From the perspective of national social governance, whether the benefited groups underestimate their benefits in the reform or the deprived groups overestimate their losses in the reform, it will undoubtedly be detrimental to social development and integration. Therefore, studying the people’s perception of the benefits of reform in China will help to understand the distribution of people’s sense of injustice, and slow down the impact of social injustice caused by the distribution of benefits of reform on social stability and development, so as to promote China’s modernization process and promote the healthy and stable development of transformation.
