摘要
Sikong Tu (A.D. 837–908), with the courtesy name of Biaosheng, also known as Zhifeizi, was born in Yuxiang, Hezhong (present-day Yuxiang County, Shanxi Province). He was a renowned poet of the Late Tang Dynasty and had the most significant influence on later generations in the field of poetic theory. His work Styles of Poetry delineated vivid and imaginative scenery to elucidate abstract theories, thus holding innovative significance in the structure of poetic criticism.
