Whether it is a steam power device or a nuclear power device, the basic method to improve the thermal efficiency of the device cycle is to increase the initial parameters of the steam turbine or reduce the final parameters, as shown in Fig. 10.1. It can be seen that increasing the initial temperature and pressure of the steam, or reducing the exhaust steam pressure, significantly improves the thermal efficiency of the device cycle [60].
