With the rapid advancement of artificial intelligence (AI) technology, various fields continue to explore its applications. At the same time, there is growing societal attention to the rehabilitation and living conditions of special groups. The integration of human-centered AI with rehabilitation aids presents new opportunities for the field of intelligent rehabilitation medicine. This chapter focuses on two aspects: AI-based assistive technology for the individuals with disabilities and AI-based information accessibility design. It systematically reviews current AI rehabilitation assistive devices, rehabilitation assistive technology and applications, and information accessibility design. Additionally, it examines real-world applications and the challenges faced under current technological constraints. Finally, the chapter looks forward to the future convergence of AI, 5G technology, and intelligent rehabilitation medicine. This integration is expected to transform traditional medical models and inject new vitality into rehabilitation aids.
