Cognitive Interpreting Studies
摘要
Cognitive Interpreting Studies, as an interdisciplinary integration of interpreting studies with cognitive science, such as cognitive linguistics, cognitive psychology, and cognitive neuroscience, has attracted widespread attention from both academia and industry in recent years. Scholars have persistently explored the cognitive processes of interpreting from their respective perspectives (Gile 2009; Tracy and Osipowicz 2011; Fantinuoli 2013; Koshkin et al. 2018), providing valuable insights into understanding different stages of the cognitive processes of interpreting, the interpreting activity itself, and the cognitive mechanisms of interpreters. However, Chinese and international research on interpreting cognition is generally still at an exploratory stage, with its theories, principles, and methods in need of further investigation and development.
