Several regional economic integration blocs have been tried in the Muslim World. Yet the underlying goal of such integration blocs has been purely economic and geo-political. No moral combined with materiality of the unifying blocs has been the pronounced objective criterion. Consequently, the distinguished Islamic objective of unity by sustainable interrelations, and commonality of the Islamic law of unity of knowledgeUnity of knowledge that characterize the moral-materiality complementary foundation of the ummah as enshrined in the Charter of OIC, and which lay out the gateway of unshakable worldview toward establishing the foundation and structure of the OIC-ICM, are not their substantive goals.
