Safety is a perennial concern, crucial for both individual and collective survival and development. University student safety has always been a key issue for higher education institutions. With the recent occurrences of campus safety incidents, enhancing university students’ safety awareness has become a fundamental focus of college safety education. Simultaneously, the rapid development of educational informatization has introduced a new perspective—smart education. Under this framework, utilizing literature research and questionnaire surveys from multiple dimensions can better construct pathways to enhance university students’ safety awareness, thereby further ensuring their physical and psychological well-being and promoting their overall development.
