Design of Regional Cathodic Protection Scheme for a Certain Oil Station
摘要
Due to the complex network structure formed by the pipelines and numerous underground metal facilities in oil station, traditional standards for calculating and designing cathodic protection are often no longer applicable. Regional cathodic protection considers all pre-protected objects within a region as a whole, through reasonable design of anodes and compensate cathodic protection current, ensures that all pre-protected objects within the region reach the specified protection range. This article takes a oil station which was already built as the research object. Detailed on-site testing and feeding tests were conducts to realize a more intuitive and refined cathodic protection system design method through numerical simulation technology, breaking away from the traditional experience based cathodic protection design method. This provides new reference and inspiration for the design of regional cathodic protection in oil and gas stations.
