The chapter presents an analysis of existing methodological approaches aimed at investigating the management of information related to the classification of existing built heritage. The approaches are typically characterised by the use and the identification of existing standards and ontologies for geometric and semantic representation. Therefore, the conceptual basis of knowledge supporting the conservation of existing architectural heritage is examined. Particular attention is given to the qualification processes, with a focus on the parameterisation procedures for the built and urban environment. Moreover, this section provides an overview of the CityGML standard and its application in the context of architectural Cultural Heritage.

摘要

The chapter presents an analysis of existing methodological approaches aimed at investigating the management of information related to the classification of existing built heritage. The approaches are typically characterised by the use and the identification of existing standards and ontologies for geometric and semantic representation. Therefore, the conceptual basis of knowledge supporting the conservation of existing architectural heritage is examined. Particular attention is given to the qualification processes, with a focus on the parameterisation procedures for the built and urban environment. Moreover, this section provides an overview of the CityGML standard and its application in the context of architectural Cultural Heritage.
